CBeebies Art Magazine ๐Ÿ–Œ๐Ÿ–โœ‚๏ธSuper fun activities to keep kids busy!

December 14, 2016

My boys love magazines. I think they take after their mummy who is also an avid reader of magazines – the fashion kind!

My older son is now 8 and a super Chelsea fan so he loves football magazines, but my younger 6 year old gets hugely excited when gifted with any kids again offering arts & crafts and especially a gift on the front.

As parents we do have to be careful when choosing the right magazine for our children as the range on offer is so huge! And as a lot of the cartoon characters on offer can be quite violent I tend to stay away from kids magazines which gift guns or any other violent toys.

So it is a breathe of fresh air when a kids magazine promotes old fashioned crafts we used to enjoy ourselves when we were little.

The Magazine –

CBeebies has brought out a fantastic new magazine aimed at kids simply entitled ‘Art – Draw, Make & Play’.

That is exactly what my boy loves doing in his free time, and it is the perfect way to take their attention off the iPads and the television. Good old fashioned arts & crafts. Colouring, gluing, sticking, creating.

The special Winter issue has some fantastic activities to keep the kiddies busy for hours –

  •  Create a 3D Arctic fox & a snowy owl
  • Fingerprint a Snowman picture
  • Stencil lots of lovely animals, winter pictures and patterns on woolly hats and jumpers

 Verdict –

My 6 year old spent a good while making the three cute Christmas decorations gifted with the magazine. Using his little fingers to fix on the robins eyes, little nose & beak was so much fun.

At the end by completing all three animals he felt so proud, and happily hung them on our Christmas tree for everyone to see.

There are so many other fun things for us to do in this wonderful magazine! We will definitely be buying this on a regular basis.

Fantastic fun!

Available to purchase now in all large supermarkets & bookshops.
