Macabella ❤️ Delicious Chocolate Spread filled with Roasted Macadamia Nuts! ðŸ˜‹

As the nights get darker, the leaves fall from the trees and it gets chillier, all we want to do is get cosy indoors with a blanket and a steaming cup of hot chocolate.

I don’t know what it is about the winter months but for me I always seem to want lots of comforts; sweet drinks and foods seem to hit the spot perfectly. Chocolate is at the top of my list – in cakes, in drinks or just as it is.

My boys adore chocolate spreads, the thicker, the gooier, the richer the better. So I was extremely excited to try a new spread made of Macadamia nuts with a wonderful name – Macabella!

The Product –

Macabella Choc Macadamia Spread is infused with the unique flavour of diced and gently ground macadamias, allowing your taste buds to experience a true delight with one of the worlds finest nuts.

Macadamias are a nutrition powerhouse and contain many nutrients including heart-friendly monosaturated fatty acids.

Macabella is heavenly all on its own by the spoonful, but you can also enjoy the smooth velvety texture with extra crunch, spread thick onto your favourite bread or croissant. However you choose to indulge with Macabella one spoonful is never enough.

Seldom does a packaged food truly taste like heaven, but the UK is just discovering Australia’s 2016 Product of the Year in the spreads category! It is the first of it’s kind in the UK, Macabella is a macadamia nut infused cocoa spread made with quality ingredients. Verdict –

Heavenly is the first word that comes to mind. Smoother, silkier, softer than other chocolate spreads.

My boys loved the Macabella crunch spread on their morning banana pancakes as an extra special treat, and the Macabella Velvet made the most delicious homemade hot chocolate with a smooth creamy nutty taste like any other. Recipe for the homemade Macabella Hot Chocolate is below –

Macabella Hot Chocolate – (per person)

  • 3 teaspoons of Macabella Velvet chocolate spread
  • 1 mug of warm milk

Simply warm the milk, add the Macabella Velvet spread, stir gently over a low heat until the milk turns chocolatey. Serve straight away and enjoy!
