Breakfast smoothie filled with tropical fruits â¤ï¸ðŸ’›

My family loves smoothies, they are the perfect way to get the most from fruits and vegetables in the easiest possible way.

Every Sunday we have a big family breakfast and every Sunday I try to put together a different smoothie for the family to enjoy. This tropical smoothie has got to be the favourite one so far. It is so sweet, colourful and tasty it transports you away to a tropical island and makes you think of sunny days lying on a sandy beach.

You can try adding your own choice of fruits, but I have found that this combination works perfectly.

Ingredients – (makes enough for 4 small glasses)

  • 2 kiwis peeled and cut into pieces
  • 1 banana
  • 1 large papaya (remove seeds with a spoon, peel and cut into pieces)
  • 400ml freshly squeezed orange juice

Method –

  • Simply place all the fruits into a blender.
  • Pour over the orange juice and coconut water.
  • Blend until a puree like texture is achieved with no fruit pieces remaining.
  • Place in a large jug and add some ice cubes.
