Dotty Detective by Clara Vulliamy πŸ’– a book review πŸ“š

June 20, 2016

Childrens books are so trendy these days, the subject matters, the pictures, the colours, they all make you want to be a child again and be transported into the magical world of books.

Here is another great review from lovely Yasmin. This time she has reviewed ‘Dotty Detective’ for you all. Thank you Yasmin ❀️😘

The Book –

Move over Sherlock Holmes there’s a new detective in town! Dorothy Constance Mae Louise (or dot for short) is a huge fan of Freddy Fantastic and he has given her a new passion. Investigating and joining up the dogs to all of the mysteries in school. With a brilliant sidekick like McClusky the dog that shouldn’t be so hard…should it?

When Dot’s life is packed up into a box and moved away there’s a lot of New mysteries to solve and they all revolve around Laura Drew.

Dot’s detective obsession attracts new friend Beans and when drama surrounds the school talent show they work together as a super secret agent duo! But will it take more than just her lucky special red shows to say the day.

Verdict –

In my opinion this book is for younger readers than myself, I am 11 years old. However I still think it’s a good book.

I love the detailed pages because it is so realistic and makes it look just like a real diary.

You can buy Dotty Detective on Amazon uk and in all major bookshops.

Dotty Detective by Clara Vulliamy is published by Harper Collins.
