Rent a Bridesmaid by Jacqueline Wilson πŸ’– a book review πŸ“š

June 6, 2016

My good friend Keran’s beautiful daughter Yasmin, who is an amazing writer, was happy to review this book for you all. Thanks again Yasmin!

The Book & Review –

Just like every other book by Jacqueline Wilson, “Rent a Bridesmaid” melts your heart, whilst hopes and dreams decorate the pages.

There is a saying that ‘you are never fully dressed without a smile,’ but if you are dressed in a perfectly pink, flowery dress then a smile comes naturally and maybe, if you’re lucky, it will cast a smile over all of your wishes. But, as the main character Matilda finds out, is it really for the best if they come true?

Matilda’s new life has created a black cloud over her world when her mum leaves, but a new friend, with a fiery head of red hair, brightens it all up.

Although her parents marriage hasn’t worked out, Tilly has a bridesmaid obsession and it soon leads to fame. But when her dad and teacher meet there is only one marriage that she hopes for.

Mixed with the best seller book ‘The worst thing about my sister,’ Rent a bridesmaid is a fantastic read that you won’t want to put down.

I would like lots of people to read it because I enjoyed it so much! As you read it, you are no longer in your own world but in Matilda’s.

This book is perfect for everyone as there is girly pink throughout this book but boisterous play follows.

I would recommend it to mainly girls over the age of 7 but that’s just my opinion.

A huge thank you to beautiful Yasmin Doran. πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–
