The joys of flying… πŸ˜ƒβœˆοΈ

March 27, 2016

I am writing to you from high above the clouds! I’m off to Antalya for some sunshine and relaxation with my boys. The airport was absolutely packed, some dressed in shorts and sandals, others in polo necks and woolen hats. Everyone dressed according to their final destination.

Our flight is not too long, 3hours and 45 minutes.  Everything went smoothly, we were seated and ready to go sooner than we knew it! It was an extremely full flight.

I was doing quite well, boys were very quiet either on the ipads or reading, until the lady infront of me decided to recline her seat that is!!

I’m quite tall, around 5’7. Long legs are a definite disadvantage when flying economy. Between the edge of my seat and the seat infront of me it’s around 24cm! I measured it with my filofax ruler πŸ˜ƒ

So I’m all set to go, then the lady infront of me decides to recline her seat!

The already tight 24cm goes down to 20cm!! Ok you might be thinking 4cm isn’t that much, but it’s alot when sitting in the same place for over three hours with kids.

In my opinion reclining seats are not necessary, especially for shorter flights.

So there you have it, we got to Antalya safe and sound that’s all that matters in the end.

Happy Easter! xxx
