Trash the crash diets ā¤ļø

January 15, 2016

In my late teens, around 17-18 I was a model. I did catwalk and a magazine spread, even a swimwear fashion show. I absolutely loved it.

Whats not to love, you are the centre of attention, I love posing for the camera and you get to meet so many wonderful people. But my one issue with modelling was not being able to say super thin.

I am not lucky enough to be naturally thin so have always had to watch my weight. Ive yo-yoed from being a very slim size 10 to a size 14. But I have never been satisfied with my weight as I am at this very moment in time as I approach 40.

The main reason for this is because I have never felt fitter and more confident with the skin I am in. I have totally stopped any form of crash dieting, in fact the word diet is no longer a part of my vocabulary. I am all about healthy eating, moderate exercise and never depriving yourself of any foods.

I’ve tried every crash diet under the sun! Cabbage soup diet, juice cleanse, not mixing proteins & carbs, there was even one diet where I ate ice cream all day for a week. Looking back now it was all so totally crazy.

So the motto of my story is please just eat everything in moderation.

Be happy in the skin you are in ā¤ļøšŸ˜˜
