Loss de Plott – A Bear Called Ted πŸ“š a perfect gift πŸ»β€οΈ

November 16, 2015

I read somewhere the other day that there were 5 weekends until Christmas! Only 5 weekends! Now that is exciting but also a tiny bit worrying as there is so much to do.

Buying gifts for others is one of my favourite things ever, for me Christmas is more about the giving than the receiving. I like to think about the person I am giving to, what would make them smile, something original, something special.

For kids and adults alike I think books are superb gifts. I know that I always love to receive books be it a novel, cookbook or any other type of book for that matter. I know that even if I don’t get to read it straight away it will be cherished on my bookshelf and I will read it one day.

I have reviewed the Loss de Plott trilogy of books in a past blog post. They are beautifully illustrated magical stories for adults and children alike. The fourth book ‘A Bear called Ted’ does not disappoint either.

My boys each have their own special teddy bear which they cuddle up to before bedtime each night, so a book about a bear, especially one as cute and cool as Ted was a real winner.

Stephan Myers books are so great for little ones as they rhyme and with the colourful illustrations are easy for even littler ones to follow. In this amazing story we follow Ted through adventures where he travels here and there, drives a racing car and even sails a boat. Loss’s imagination takes Ted to all sorts of places on adventures far and wide.

I cannot wait to get the ‘A Bear called Ted’ cookbook next! How exciting! My boys love to cook!
