Spooks The Greater Good – a movie review ðŸŽ¬

May 12, 2015

I watched this movie last night and I just had to write about it.

If you enjoyed Spooks the tv series, if you enjoyed Homeland, you will absolutely love this!

My husband and I love these sorts of movies- action packed, having you on the edge of your seat till the very end, modern day agencies like the FBI and CIA fighting to find and capture the baddie before its too late. In many ways these types of movies, tv series’s all have the same basic plot, but I don’t know why we always seem to be back for more.

After being avid fans of Spooks the tv series for a long time, when we saw the posters advertising ‘Spooks The Greater Good’ we knew we had to see it.

I’ve always been a bit dubious of tv series’s that become movies, but Sex and the City did it so why can’t Spooks.

I won’t give too much away but the story goes like this – When a terrorist escapes custody during a routine handover, Will Holloway must team with disgraced MI5 Intelligence Chief Harry Pearce to track him down before an imminent terrorist attack on London. The handsome Kit Harrington and Elyes Gabel are great in the roles of good and bad. Peter Firth is the same old Harry at first but then takes a much bigger role. The movie also has some amazing views of lovely London you will enjoy!

So if you are looking for a 104 minutes of on the edge of your seat excitment this is the movie for you!

Spooks The Greater Good is in cinemas across the UK now.

Enjoy! xxx
