Flu busting juice!

Today my little one and I are home with the flu. Any mother of kids at school knows that once the germs get into the home they spread. So today Im making flu busting juice, tea and soup to help with the coughing and sneezing. 

We started the day with a vitamin filled juice. Kiwis are packed with vitamin C, even more than oranges. The ones I had were not yet ripe so were not ready to eat, but perfect for juicing. Ginger is a root vegetable which can give juices a very strong spicey taste so only put a little piece in to start with. Try my juice to fight to flu! 

Ingredients – (enough for 2)

– 4 kiwi (peeled)

– 4 carrots

– 2 apples

– 1 inch of peeled ginger for an extra kick!

Method –

Juice up and enjoy! xxx
