Mothers Day Gift Guide! Make the special lady in your life smile!

March 7, 2015

Its Mothers Day in the UK next Sunday 15th March, but wherever in the world you are why not make the ‘mother’ in your life smile – she deserves it!

Ive made a list if gifts which I think a mother would love, a mother doesn’t have to be someone who has had kids themselves, just someone who cares for and loves children.

For the mummies out there who love to cook

Deliciously Ella – This is the new cookbook by Ella Woodward, hailed as the new Nigella. Plant based, dairy-free and gluten free recipes for those health conscious mummies out there!  Available on amazon. http://www.amazon.co.uk

The Hummingbird Bakery cookbook – I absolutely adore this book! Ive pretty much tried every recipe and they all work! Available on amazon. http://www.amazon.co.uk

For the mummies who love to look after their skin –

Anything Clarins – I am a ‘Clarins Girl’. Their products are made up of natural ingredients, look great, smell delicious and most importantly work wonders! Boots the Chemist sells a huge range of their products, and they have some lovely gift sets available. http://www.clarins.co.uk

For the mummies with a sweet tooth-

The most deliciously tasty and glittering box of chocolates has got to be the ‘Jewel Box’ by British chocolatiers Prestat! Not only are the chocolates scrumptious, the box is a splendid mix of purples and pinks, likely to make anyone smile. Available at Waitrose stores – http://www.waitrose.com

For those who want to spend a little extra –

Women love bags! Mummies love practical bags! I think Longchamp make the most practical bags of all! The Le Pliage range is waterproof and extremely strong. They come in a whole range of colours and styles to suit any mother. The shoulder bag and backpack are my favourites. John Lewis sells the whole range, check out style at the Longchamp website. http://uk.longchamp.com/pliage/nylon

Happy Mothers Day! xxx
