Crazy about Kale chips

Just had to post this before bedtime.

Its Sunday night, kids are in bed after a busy weekend. My dearest and I are ready to watch a few episodes of The Good Wife on Netflix, our current addiction. But first we need a snack, something to munch on while watching Peter Florrick (Mr Big from SATC).

Tonight’s snack of choice wasn’t popcorn or cookies (we are both being careful) it was….Kale!

I absolutely love Kale ❀️ its dark shade of green, those strong curly leaves, its a superfood afterall.

In less than 5minutes you too can transform Kale into a delicious healthy and tasty snack. Thanks to Abel & Cole, who not only deliver my gorgeous weekly organic vegetables, but also give me great ideas on how to cook them, I found this recipe. It will transform kale into ‘seaweed from a Chinese restaurant’ in front of your very eyes! Try it! Im going to make it for the kids too.

Ingredients –

– Big bunch of Kale

– drizzle of oil

– Paprika

Method-

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Chop up the kale. Spread it on a baking tray lined with silver foil. Drizzle on some good olive oil, sprinkle on some paprika, sea salt & black pepper. Put in the oven for 5mins only. Put in a large bowl and eat up with your fingers like popcorn! Yummy πŸ˜ƒ

    A shake of salt and sugar on them before cooking too makes them naughtier but even lovelier! Yum Yasemin!
